Although most people do not have chest pain related to the courage, pain in the chest ALL - length from 1 minute to 5 days - to a heart attack. Because it took her boyfriend is on the old "first" and the complaints so long, it would be advisable to consult a doctor or an emergency room. "Lucky" people who have a heart attack, with the warning signs. It is foolish to ignore them.

My husband has a heart attack at age 48 after workouts, and his only "notice" that he too felt fear and excitement. We went to the emergency room, where he) immediately undergo cardiac catheterization (and the other the next day and spend 5 days in the ICU. He had 5 stents put in prison for 4 vessels.

Many people ignore chest pain and other symptoms (usually because they fear) and grief, sometimes time heals itself - but it does hurt inside. I have several patients (who had a second heart attack, you can see the recent damage to the EKG), who admitted he had aprevious episode was ignored.

In relation to the symptoms of a heart attack, which can out of nothing at all pain area (in my quiet) to the crushing of the chest, with nothing between them.

Take take any unnecessary risks - Insist that your friend will be immediately verified. If anything, you can be happy and peaceful. If anything, the earlier the treatment, the better.

Good luck! - I know that men can be stubborn!

There are other symptoms that accompany a heart attack, his left hand numbness and tingling, sweating, feeling of heaviness in the chest, nausea. You can also stomach problems like acid reflux. I had indigestion, or reflux, once so bad that I thought I had a heart attack. It can also be dropped something in the back and radiating pain in his chest. Take her to the doctor for an exam on Monday, then you and he wants to. Good luck:)

It appears that you have a friend in May and after lifting injured. Any chest pain should be considered the real deal .... but as the days passed and pain cont. Elongation and the surrounding tissue can undercut internally causing pleuritic pain.
An electrocardiogram, lab work history and an MD is the only way to know for sure ... Tell him to check, too ..... If a change occurs in the emergency 911 for sure. MY can change within hours. Days to damage the muscles.
Prevention is better than the alternative!

He may have, you may need .... ..... Who cares, the pain in the chest !!!!!! Take him to the emergency would not it be better to take to the emergency room and discovered that was heartburn or muscle strain, which do not wake up tomorrow? I am a nurse and a heart have seen many tragedies occur due to these symptoms. Not necessarily to be dead if a heart attack. I think it's terrible people go to Yahoo Answers for advice on such an alarming pain in the chest that lasts for five days! Why should we take that risk?
As for the typical symptoms of a heart attack, some people have everything, some people have none of it. Chest pain should always be checked.
